David Howard has been making pottery for 25 years. He hand throws each vessel on a pottery wheel. David discovered his interest in pottery while taking undergraduate classes at Montevallo University in Alabama. He has been featured in Southern Living magazine. David also did period reproduction pieces that were in the movie Tom & Huck starring Jonathon Taylor Thomas. He has been a member of the Great Smoky Mountain Arts & Crafts Community since 1999.
Shannon Smith, a craftsman in her own right, is responsible for the creative design aspect in the shop. She designs and makes each stamp in our shop. Once the mug has been bisque fired, each mug is then hand painted by Shannon. She also makes slate rock candles that can be found in our shop. She has been a member of the Great Smoky Mountain Arts & Crafts Community since 2015.
